NBF Gingival Gel (Gingivitis Treatment)
For Soft Tissue Healing
For Soft Tissue Healing
NBF Gingival Gel is the only oral wound treatment on the market with the capability to cleanse, protect, and heal, all at once. Right from the first use, this patented gel formula cleanses and disinfects a wound to prevent further damage or the spread of further disease, speeding up recovery and eradicating new risk factors. Around the wounded tissue itself, it speeds up the healing process by temporary protecting the area, closing it off to foreign bodies in order to promote tissue repair from the inside out.
This rapid, proactive approach to wound care reduces — and can even eliminate — the need for painkillers and antibiotics. It results in deep, long-lasting relief, especially compared with market-leading products which last in the mouth for only a short time, or products which soothe pain and disguise injury rather than heal.
The gel has countless applications: as a follow-up after dental treatment, to aid recovery from disease, and for everyday use, to improve and maintain oral health.
NBF Gingival is a global brand with presence in more than 30 countries worldwide.
The three active ingredients in NBF Gingival Gel, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Propolis, are powerful natural antioxidants which fight off free radicals. Free radicals are harmful agents from inside and outside the body, let loose by damage to the tissue surrounding a wound which block healing, and are potentially infectious and damaging.
Vitamin C promotes soft tissue healing in damaged areas such as the tongue, cheeks, roof of the mouth, gingiva, and floor of the oral cavity. Vitamin E maintains the integrity of cell membranes and supports the regrowth of epithelial cells, indispensable protective cells which occur on the surface of the inside of the mouth.
Propolis, the most important sealant found in beehives and beeswax, is a composite of more than 180 natural compounds, many of which are antioxidants. Propolis also contains powerful anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and immune-stimulating properties, to ward off infection. Further, it combats the activity of acid-producing and carcinogenic bacteria and prevents the formation of harmful biofilms, invasive structures made of fungus and bacteria.
Those three ingredients work in a wonderful way to heal oral wounds when they are combined in NBF Gingival Gel. Our patented technology employs two innovations in biotechnology and nanotechnology: nanoparticles and biofusion film:
The first innovation is the size of the healing agents delivered to oral wounds. The active ingredients in NBF Gingival Gel, nanoparticles of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Propolis, are able to access and target critical areas of the wound and even be absorbed inside the gingiva itself, rather than being dispelled by free radicals or rinsed away. This makes them up to ten to one hundred times more effective at healing the mouth than larger particles. –
The second innovation is the use of propolis, derived from beeswax, to bind together the antioxidants Vitamin C and Vitamin E, in a structure known as a Biofusion emulsion, or a Biofusion film. This is done for two reasons. Firstly, it’s so that the antioxidants closest to the wound can reach the interior regions of the gingiva without being scattered. Secondly, at the same time as those healing agents are active in the cavity of the wound itself, the vulnerable area is protected from further damage and contamination by a layer of film. This Biofusion film supports the integrity of the tissue and facilitates the healing process.
